I'm really surprised that its continuing into a 6th season, I thought that last finale would have been a solid series ender.

I just finished season 4, I hate the characters but like the show.

Been racing thru this, halfway through season 5 now.
THE BEST.
That season 3 (?) finale when newborn Colin Robinson is sitting on the floor with his stupid superimposed adult face had me lolling halfway to Sunday and back

Yeah, I was somewhat hesitant to start season 5 for some reason.
Maybe I just imagined they would run out of steam with the show, but nope!
Still as great as ever.
And yeah that episode was next level haha.

Season 5 is amazing.
5x4 - The Campaign - You guys gotta watch this episode, so funny, a meeting of the energy vampire council that nearly kills Colin Robinson, in a grungy basement, everyone is interrupting everyone, nothing is working, they're tied up:
Colin - "My god, they are fantastic."
Evie - "Ya, this is awful."
Colin - "Listen, if we don't survive this, I just want you to know I've always loved...."
Perfectly cast and brilliantly performed scene. Hannibal Buress, Greg Turkington, Aparna Nancherla, Jo Firestone. Amazing.

Yeah, i enjoy it but hes not a part of all of it. Insisting on saying vampires and energy vampires is so silly...
 hahaha! :D The whole show is pointless and silly. Zero character development. It's a gimmick inside a gimmick. If the banter isn't good, neither is the show. The entire appeal rests on the quality and delivery of the lines and performances, and not the (non-)story.

I was kinda surprised they continued this show after S2 and S3 shows they are committed :p
Colin was lazy writing imo
Ya, it's so predictable and purposeless there's a lot of deflated suspense, but I still enjoy the banter. ;)
