liked it ok-isch, but there was so much -quite obvious- room for improvement, pretty sure it was a test and was therefore limited in budget...?

It was also very inconsistent in quality, some scenes were really and sometimes even really really great - and often the only way to not drop it was "fast forward" (like trashy B/W western flashbacks), music was often unfitting, especially the intro, which is lame at best and annoying with the music... and DOES NOT END, waaaaaay to fucking long: 90s in a 30-40m episode WTF!?

But i really like Alaqua Cox and hope to see her a lot in the future, and not only because o her extraordinary accomplishment of being a ok-good actor as a deaf and disabled person big-thumbs-up here!!!

Watched it. It felt like they had material for a 1.5 hour movie but decided to make it 5 episodes. My favorite bits were scenes between her relatives/friends, many of whom were Reservation Dogs cast members, though it did seem like they were just doing Res Dogs fanfic.
